A course of weekly trumpet lessons to develop breathing technique, sound, intonation, range and stamina. Each book consists of ten lessons using breathing exercises and musical phrases to help any player build a solid foundation of technique which, in turn, develops self-confidence and self-esteem.
Each lesson in Book 3 consists of five parts and continues the work that has been developed in Breathe! Book 1. The first three parts of each lesson are based on the three parts of Breathe! Books 1 and 2. Parts 4 and 5 of each lesson consist of double tounging execises and a study. The book develops the concept of pedal notes to improve breathing and embouchure strength and rapid tonguing as a means to improving range and stamina. The range is from double pedal Db to high Eb
